The Walnut Studio Workshop Fit-Out

Our own bench room rebuilt in walnut and maple — storage, light and twelve quiet machines.
Every workshop eventually rebuilds itself, and last winter was ours. The Walnut Studio fit-out gave twelve machines, three assembly benches and forty years of collected jigs a proper home — in the same walnut and maple we specify for clients.
Tall storage walls in oiled walnut hold timber vertically so boards stay true. Assembly benches in hard maple carry twin vices and dog holes on both faces. Dust extraction runs overhead in galvanised duct, lighting is 4000K strips over every bench, and the finishing room is sealed behind glass so oil cures dust-free.
